Characteristics:
- I am an experienced SSI Instructor Certifier and DAN Instructor Trainer in Oxygen First Aid (formerly a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor).
- I have an RYA Day Skipper's license and experience in driving hard hull boats & RIB's.
- I have excellent computer skills, including over five years' experience in commercial website design.
- I am enthusiastic, ambitious and hard working, and my varied roles in the past give me a broadened outlook to my life and work.
- I work well with people and am quick to act under pressure, responding rapidly to changing situations, whether helping stressed divers or dealing with stressed managers!

Teaching beginner to instructor courses, website design & maintenance, underwater digital photography & videography, computer maintenance. Responsible for developing Big Blue's PADI and SSI leadership level training programmes and specialty diver programmes to a level approaching 100% continuing education and customer retention.

Additional Information
- I have a BSc (Honours) in Applied Chemistry.
- I started scuba diving in 1995 and have dived in Australia, Fiji, Egypt, Thailand, Kenya, South Africa the Mediterranean. I also like underwater photography and marine identification.
- I love music and have played the piano for twenty-five years.
- I practised karate for ten years and hold a second dan black belt.
- I have run in several half-marathons and marathons.
- I am a keen underwater digital photographer and my recent work can be seen in the World Atlas of Seagrasses.
- I love marine life and enjoy marine identification. In 2002, I completed an open university foundation course in marine biology.
- I speak English fluently, mon français est assez bon, und ich spreche ein bißchen deutsch!
- I break bones with alarming regularity, including ribs, wrists, fingers, thumbs, toes and shins.
